Michael L. Marsh

Michael Lee Marsh, 39, of New Philadelphia, Ohio, formerly of Cadiz and the Tappan Lake area, died Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at his home after a sudden illness. Born April 26, 1971 in Dennison, Ohio, he was a son of the late Donald Eugene and Phyllis Ann (Ziegert) Marsh.

Mike is survived by two sons, Cruz Lee Marsh of Bolivar and Michael James Marsh of the home; his longtime companion, Mabel Ruckman of the home; a brother, Patrick (Angela) Marsh of Dover; half brothers, Don (Laurie) Marsh of Ottawa Lake, Michigan, John (Charlene) Marsh of Maumee, Ohio, and Rick, David, Danny, Steve, and Mark Zeigert of Colorado; a half sister, Wilda (John) Hawker of Holland, Ohio; and many extended family members, including nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Mike grew up in the Tappan area and attended Conotton Valley High School. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and was an avid Steelers fan.

Services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to his family in care of the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home, 26 Grant St., Dennison, OH 44621, to help defray the cost of his final expenses.
