Michael Wayne Freeman

Michael Wayne Freeman, 54, of Uhrichsville, died as a result of a jobsite fall on Monday, September 23, 2019. Born December 8, 1964 in Cleveland, he was a son of the late Judith Ann (Timmerman) Freeman.

On August 30, 2014, Mike married Jennifer S. (Sanders) Freeman who survives him along with children, Kayla (companion, Derek) Freeman, Samantha (fiancé, Trent) Freeman and Bryden Fisher; stepdaughters, Kayla (Denny) Amore and Kelsey (Jake) Moore; grandchildren, Tyson Harig, Zailei, Zoei and Zynleigh Leggett, and Derik, Kaisyn and Kamryn Amore; siblings, Penny (Jerry) Hensley, Bob (Paul) Freeman, Jr., and Kim (Jim) Harbin; nephews and nieces, Owen Hensley, Bennette Hill, Tripp, Chelsea and Jillian Harbin, and Lily Hensley; mother-and father-in-law, Jim and Goldie Gatts; and close friends, Jay McComb, Johnny Peterman and Josh Gintz. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur and Florence Timmerman; and siblings, Jamie Jordan, and Missy and Robert Parks.

Mike was a driver for Valley Trucking Services who was an avid NASCAR fan, especially for Dale Earnhardt, Jr., and was also a fan of Ohio State Buckeyes Football. He enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids, and will be lovingly remembered for always laughing and telling jokes. He loved his rock music and his truck.

Services, officiated by Rev. Michael Travis, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, at the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
