Matthew Ervin Weber, 48, of Uhrichsville, passed away unexpectedly March 2, 2019 at Aultman Hospital, while surrounded by his loving family. A son of the late Henry Douglas Weber and Karen Elizabeth Krantz, was born at Union Hospital in Dover, Ohio.
Matt graduated from Strasburg High School in 1988. He worked at Skyline Corporation in Sugarcreek for over 25 years, serving as a Production Supervisor and most recently a Quality Inspector. Matt enjoyed spending time with his boys going to classic car shows, collecting Hot Wheels, and working on his '69 Mustang Fastback. He served as a coach with the Twin City Little League for 9 years and looked forward to spending time with and coaching his sons. He loved football season by rooting for the Dallas Cowboys, and the weekly tailgate parties with his boys supporting THE Ohio State University Football team. He looked forward to the yearly vacations at Englewood Beach Florida spending time with family and friends.
On January 6, 1989, he married Michelle Marie Grandison with whom he recently celebrated 30 years of loving marriage. Together, they raised two sons, Cory(Danielle), and Matthew who were his pride and joy. Also surviving are his siblings; Lori(Donald) Crites, Sonya Stein, and Greg Weber. Sister-in-law; Karen Grandison, Brothers-in-law; Karl, Russell, and Jim (Rachel) Grandison, Mother-in-law; Karla Grandison, numerous nieces and nephews of which he was proud of each and every one, and his canine companion Bella, who he loved dearly. He was also happy to hear of his first grandchild expected in September.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his Father-in-law; David (Rusty) Grandison, grandparents; Ervin and Lillian Weber and William and Elizabeth Krantz, and his Grandmother-in-law; Gertrude Griest who loved him like her own.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 4 pm in the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home at Dennison. Calling hours will be held two hours prior, from 2-4 pm. Those wishing to honor his memory may do so by making a charitable donation to the Tuscarawas County Humane Society.
