Mary Katherine Teibert

Mary Katherine Teibert, 83, of Barnhill, O., passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2009 in her home, following a lengthy illness. She was born January 16, 1926 and had been a resident of Barnhill for over fifteen years.

Mary was a loving Christian woman who was a member of New Life Center in Barnhill. She was the kind of person who loved to please others and was always ready to help out however she could. She loved talking with her friends and telling stories, as well as reading and looking at magazines. She also enjoyed playing her harmonica for her bird in the evenings. Her happiest times were spent sitting outside enjoying the blessings of nature while watching the birds and the butterflies. She attended the Starlight Workshop until her failing health prevented her.

She is survived by her supportive living provider, Patricia Bolden, with whom she had resided; a special friend, Claire McNeil; her housemate, Mary Ann; and her attentive caregivers from Siffrin. Mary would also want to acknowledge the wonderful care she received from Hospice of Tuscarawas County which eased her final days.

Services for Mary, officiated by Pastor Fred J. Battles, will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home at Dennison. Interment will follow in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Tuesday from noon until 1:00 p.m. Those wishing to honor Mary’s memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to Starlight Enterprises and Hospice of Tuscarawas County, in lieu of flowers.
