Mary P. Presutti

Mary P. Presutti, 77, of Dennison, O., passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Select Specialty Hospital in Canton, O., following an extended illness.

Born April 10, 1932 in Dennison, she was a daughter of the late Edward Robert Zay and Rhoda (Jenkins) Zay Sinden.

Mary was a lifelong resident of the Twin City area, having attended Immaculate Conception School until her senior year in high school. In addition to being a loving mother, grandmother, and homemaker, she worked for a number of area businesses over the years, including the Southside Pallet Shop, the Brown Derby and the Nioqua Inn. She especially loved caring for her clients when she worked for Better Home Health Care as an aide until her retirement. She enjoyed Bingo, watching NASCAR, and doing crafts in her spare time.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Mrs. Don (Darlene) Page of New Philadelphia, Mrs. William (Mary Ann) Devore of Dennison, and Mrs. Cliff (Tracie) Bolitho of Dennison with whom she had resided; her “adopted #1 daughter”, Susie Wanosik of Uhrichsville; twelve grandchildren, Christy, Jason, Michelle, Michael, J.D., Eric, Bill Jr., Erin, Ryan, Lauralee, Emily, and Chuckie; twenty-six great-grandchildren; a sister, June Fulton of Ocala, Fla.; a half brother, Richard Sinden of New Philadelphia; a number of nieces and nephews; her grandkitty, Stormy; and her grandpuppy, Shadow. She is also survived by her three special aides, Helen, Mikhail and Brenda, whose loving care was deeply appreciated.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Paul Sinden; her husband, Charles V. “Chuck” Presutti; sons, Charles V. Presutti II, Michael Presutti, and Charles A. Presutti Sr.; a sister, Ann; a half brother, Paul Jr.; and two great grandchildren.

Services for Mary, officiated by Pastor Tom Klaserner, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 5, in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home at Dennison. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery near Dennison.

Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Saturday, April 3, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Please note that, in observance of Easter, calling hours are not the evening before the funeral.
