Mary Edith Palmer, 63, of Bowerston, O., died Friday, September 17, 2010 at her home.
Born October 19, 1946 in Dennison, O., she was a daughter of Helen L. (Hathaway) Palmer of Dover and the late George R. Palmer.
In addition to her mother, Mary is survived by two sisters, Mrs. James (Sandra) Willoughby of Dover and Mrs. Ernie (Lynne) Weaver of Canton; a niece, Mrs. Brian (Kim) Wright of North Canton; and her dearly loved great nieces and great nephews, Caitlin, Mackenzie, Cameron and Charlie Wright of North Canton.
She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents, Roy and Mary Palmer and Herbert and Edith Hathaway.
Mary was a 1964 graduate of Conotton Valley High School and a lifelong resident of her family farm near Bowerston. She was a talented musician and a gifted photographer who captured many beautiful images in the hills surrounding her home. Mary’s greatest joy came from caring for the countless animals that she adopted, including her special pet dog, Benji. She was Methodist by faith.

Those wishing to honor Mary’s memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to the Tuscarawas County Humane Society, 6895 Dover Zoar Rd., N.E., Dover, OH 44622.
