Mary "Marie" Villwock

Mary “Marie” Villwock, 67, of Dennison, passed away at her home on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, after a lengthy illness. Born March 25, 1954 in Venezuela, she was a daughter of the late Ivan and Anna Sakir.

Marie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker who loved caring for her family and her many plants. On May 27, 1978, she married Kenneth A. Villwock who survives her at their home. She is also survived by three sons, Firman Sakir, Kenneth (Nicole) Villwock, and Jay Villwock; a daughter, Jennifer Miller; former daughter-in-law, Tara Garrett; grandchildren, Tyler (companion, Juniper) Sakir, Maci, Kennedy and Maddox Villwock, and Jacqueline Miller; great-grandchildren, Slater and Maxx Sakir; sisters, Lena (Dan) Kalynchuk and Tina (Bill) Wick; brother, Walter (Celia) Sakir; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Bonnie and Donnie Anslow, Cindy and Mark Cook, and Norma Striker Wilson; and many nieces and nephews.

According to Marie’s wishes, she has been cremated without a public viewing. Her family will hold a celebration of her life in her home at 224 Woodland Ave., Dennison, Ohio at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2021. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
