Mary Lou Cimarolli

August 26, 1930 — February 8, 2023

Mary Lou Cimarolli, 92, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at the Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia, following a period of declining health. Born August 26, 1930 in McDonald, Pennsylvania, she was the last surviving child of the late Graham Randle and Violet Eliza (Boulding) Cooper, having been preceded in death by her siblings, June Gurnish, Emilie Borio, Vera Alouise, and Graham Jr., William, and Cecil Cooper.

Mary Lou grew up in McDonald and was a 1948 graduate of North Fayette High School. On July 9, 1949, she married James Edward Cimarolli and devoted the remainder of her life to her family. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who loved caring for her family. She also enjoyed babysitting and helping at local schools as a “classroom grandmother”. She will be deeply missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Keith Willoughby, and granddaughter, Kaylee Willoughby, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A son, James M. Cimarolli, preceded her in death.

Mary Lou and her husband, James, moved to the Twin City area in 1973 and were longtime members of Uhrichsville First Presbyterian Church. She served her congregation as a Sunday School teacher, a deacon, and an elder, and truly loved being of service to the Lord and the church.

Rev. Mark Unrue will officiate her funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 13, at Uhrichsville First Presbyterian Church where her family will receive callers from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., prior to the funeral. The following day, she will be laid to rest in Robinson’s Run Cemetery in McDonald, Pennsylvania, following an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. Charitable contributions honoring her memory may be made to Uhrichsville First Presbyterian Church, PO Box 50, Uhrichsville, OH  44683 and Community Hospice, 716 Commercial Ave. S.W., New Philadelphia OH  44663.
