Mary Margaret Galbreath

Mary Margaret Galbreath, 84, of Uhrichsville passed away on Feburary 22, 2015. Born February 3, 1931 she was a daughter of the late Raymond Arthur and Marjorie Mary (Garrett) Galbreath.

Mary graduated from Uhrichsville Schools in 1949. She worked for her father at FW Shaffer Tobacco Store and the Dennison Depot. Mary continued to volunteer at the Depot after her retirement for many years. She was very active in the local AARP Chapter and loved spending time outdoors while gardening, mowing, and taking care of her yard and flowers.

Mary is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and dear friends and caregivers, Bill and Anna LeMonte of Uhrichsville. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Robert, Howard, and Raymond, Jr. and her sister, Betty J. Gilmore.

Services for Mary, officiated by Pastor Mike Travis will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will follow in New Philadelphia’s Evergreen Cemetery. Those wishing to honor her memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to the Dennison Depot.
