Marjorie Alice Smith Moore, 86, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 from Country Club Retirement Campus in Dover. A devout Christian, Marjorie held to the promise of heaven and eternity secured for her through salvation through the death, burial and resurrection of her Lord, Jesus Christ.

A past member of the Sharon Moravian Church and the New Philadelphia Assembly of God, now a member of the New Philadelphia Church of Christ, she enjoyed going to church with her friends, Charlene and Willard Espenschied. She resided at Lions Manor Senior Housing where she enjoyed her friends who felt like family to her. She hosted luncheons in the community room where everyone enjoyed a meal together. In the last few years there, Marjorie had a wonderful friend and caregiver in Carolyn McGlothlin who was like a daughter to her.
