Marion Belgya

Marion Louise Belgya, 91, of New Philadelphia passed away on August 25, 2023 at Park Village Southside. Born January 31, 1932 in Wheeling, WV she was the daughter of the late Earl Weigle and Anna Mary (Lecrone) Gross. She is also preceded in death by her siblings, Kathy Merbach and Byron Gross.

Marion graduated from Tridelphia High School in 1949. She loved caring for her husband, family and home. Marion was a member of the Uhrichsville First Methodist Church and the Jr. Sorosis Club.

On November 30, 1957 she married Robert John Belgya who survives. Also surviving are her children, Mark (Beverly) Belgya, Pamela (Jeff) Wright, and Cheryl (Fred Stoll) Probert; grandchildren, Kimberly (Matt) Monroe, Keith (Natalie) Wright, Emily (Seb) Tressel, Hunter (Leah Costello) Probert, Kristi (Justin) Long, and Karli Belgya; great granddaughter, Lucy Monroe; and a brother, Roger (Jeanette) Gross.

Private family services will be held. Burial will take place in Union Cemetery in Uhrichsville. Memorial contributions may be made to Uhrichsville First Methodist Church and Community Hospice. The family would like to express their gratitude to Community Hospice and Park Village Southside for their loving care of Marion.
