Margie Mae Warner

August 31, 1926 — February 28, 2017

Margie Mae Warner, 90, of New Philadelphia, formerly of Uhrichsville, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at Schoenbrunn Healthcare in New Philadelphia, after a period of declining health. Born August 31, 1926 in Midvale, she was a daughter of the late Homer William and Frances Mae (Clouse) Swinderman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Warner, who died in 2000; brothers, Kenny and Donald Swinderman; sisters, Dorothy Paulun, Shirley Schreiner, and Audrey Mullett; and brother-in-law, Howard Freeman.

Margie was a lifelong resident of the area who had worked at Tusco Manufacturing as a stenciler for over 30 years. She enjoyed travel and was a talented quilter.

Her surviving family includes a son, Robert J. (Wilma) Warner, Jr.; grandchildren, Lori, Bobby III, and Suzanne; a number of great-grandchildren; brother, George (June) Swinderman; sisters, Joanne Freeman and Arlene (Tom) Murphy; brother-in-law, Glenn Mullett; sister-in-law, Freda Swinderman; and many nieces and nephews.

According to Margie’s wishes, no public visitation or service is planned. She will be interred beside her beloved husband in Ridgecrest Memory Gardens in Dover. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
