After the death of her mother at a very young age, Margaret was raised by her father and stepmother, Ethel E. (Butler) Florio.
A resident of Dennison for most of her life, Margaret was a graduate of Dennison High School and a longtime member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Dennison. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker who loved the time that she spent in her gardens and flower beds.
Margaret’s surviving family includes a daughter, Judy Devaul of Greenville, Pa.; a son, Donny Jackson of Uhrichsville; many grandchildren, including a special grandson, Bill Jackson with whom she had resided; numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenny Jackson; her second husband, William Thompson; a son, Ken Jackson; and a sister, Rose Green.
In keeping with Margaret’s wishes, she has been cremated without a public visitation or service. She will be interred in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd United Methodist Church.
