Lynne Case

Lynne Case, 66, of New Philadelphia, passed away at her home on Friday, December 7, 2018, of an apparent heart attack. Born April 22, 1952 in Columbus, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Herman Leroy and M. Eloise (Cree) Morris.

Lynne grew up in the Twin City area and was a graduate of Claymont High School before earning her Bachelor’s degree from Kent State University. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker, she also taught English and drove bus for local schools.

On August 21, 1976, she married David Eugene Busby who preceded her in death on May 30, 1987. They are survived by their sons, David W. Busby, and his wife, Ashly, and Daniel W. Busby, and a grandson, Torin Busby. Lynne is also preceded in death by her longtime, loving companion, Monty L. Reed, who died on December 22, 2016.

In keeping with Lynne’s wishes, cremation is planned. Interment will be in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery.
