Lynn Diane Sanner, 42, of Tuscarawas, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on Sunday, February 6, 2011. Born June 12, 1968 in Dover, Ohio, she was a daughter of Linn David and Hilda Mary (Gastia) Marlatt of Uhrichsville.
Diane was the devoted wife of Michael W. Sanner, of the home, to whom she was married on May 16, 2003, and the loving mother of Branson T. Sanner, also of the home, Nannette Lynn Cobb and her fiance, Joseph Oliver, of Strasburg, Diane Holcomb and her companion, Eric, of Germany, Debra Kline and her husband, Richard, of Dennison, Shane Sanner and his wife, Heidi, of New Philadelphia, and Steven Sanner and his companion, Brittany, of Uhrichsville. She is also survived by three sisters, Margaret Marlatt and her fiance, Mike Ryan, of Delaware, O., Lisa Boles and her husband, Dave, of Tappan, and Judy Loibl and her husband, Steve, of Dover; special sisters, Vicky Holly and her husband, Marc, of Maryland and Krista Bolon of Dover; dear sisters-in-law, Sue Herron and her husband, John, of Scio and Patty Dryden and her companion, Butch, of Uhrichsville; her paternal grandmother, Margaret Greer of Uhrichsville; a number of grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Jeanie Henry of Gnadenhutten. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mariange and Eileen Gastia; paternal grandfather, Charles Marlatt; mother-in-law, Louise Sanner; and a niece, Brandi Boles-Vosick.
A lifelong resident of the area, Diane was a 1986 graduate of Claymont High School. She had worked for a number of area businesses, including Meteor Sealing Systems until 2001. She was an accomplished poet who had had a number of her works published. In her spare time, she enjoyed candle making and was a former member of the Uhrichsville Moose Auxiliary. She will be sadly missed by her family and her many, many friends.
Services for Diane, officiated by Pastor Kermit Hall, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home at Dennison. Interment will follow in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to her family in care of the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home to help defray the cost of her final expenses.
