Lynda Lee Mitchell

Lynda Lee Mitchell, 84, of Cadiz, passed away at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, July 9, 2023. Born September 19, 1938 in Uhrichsville, she was the daughter of the late Richard Lee and Elizabeth Ann (Kleski) Dawson.

After her 1956 graduation from Uhrichsville High School, she attended business college, preparing her for her career as a secretary. Most of all, she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. On December 14, 1957, she married Jack Lee Mitchell who survives her along with their daughters, Christine (Brady) Busby and Deidra (companion, Andrew Greene) Mitchell and granddaughters, Audrey (companion, Todd Santoro) Busby and Allison Busby. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Richard Coy Mitchell.

Lynda enjoyed operating her own small business as an e-bay retailer. Her spare time was spent on her favorite pursuits – crafting, puzzles, birds, animals, gardening, garage sales, and antiquing. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.

In keeping with Lynda’s wishes, cremation is planned without a public visitation. A private family graveside service, officiated by Pastor David Koch will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harrison County Dog Pound.
