Lucille Northam

Lucille Northam, formerly of Navarre, passed away on Wednesday December 12, 2018 in Salinas, California.  Born August 20, 1930 in Tuscarawas, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Norma (Boles) Wilson. Lucille graduated from Tuscarawas High School in 1949.

While working at Nickles Bakery in Navarre, she met her future husband John Northam whom she married on September 1, 1951, enjoying 61 years of marriage until his passing on September 29, 2012. Lucille and John settled in Navarre where they raised their three children. She was an active member of Fohl Memorial United Methodist Church until leaving Ohio in December 2010 to live in California near her children. Recently she was a resident at Brookdale community in Salinas, California.

She is predeceased by her husband, John Northam; daughter, Vicki (Northam) McCleary; her parents; sister, Linda Wilson; and brother, Dick Wilson. She will be dearly missed by her children, Jeff Northam (Carol Preston) and Patti Northam; her son-in-law, Tim McCleary; granddaughter, Jennica McCleary; sister, Kathryn Walker; and brothers, Ben and Jerry Wilson.

Viewing hours will be Thursday, December 20 from 4-7pm at R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 21 at 11:00 am. Burial service will follow at 1:00 pm at East Union Lawn Cemetery in Navarre. The family has suggested memorial contributions in Lucille’s name to Fohl Memorial United Methodist Church, 121 Basin Street NW, Navarre, Ohio 44662 or a charity of your choice.
