Lucille M. Bracone

Lucille M. Bracone, 87, of Dennison, passed away at her home on Sunday, June 16, 2013 after a brief illness. Born January 22, 1926 in Carrollton, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Vida (Crawford) Cull.

A resident of Dennison for most of her life, Lucille was a longtime member of Immaculate Conception Church and its Altar Society. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker, as well as an accomplished seamstress. She loved listening to opera music, but her greatest joy came from being with her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

On March 19, 1944, Lucille married Paul Louis Bracone who preceded her in death on October 27, 1991. They are survived by their five children, Paula R. (Larry) Wolfe of Lancaster, Ohio, Michael L. (Teena) Bracone of Pataskala, Ohio, Maurya L. Shaw of New Philadelphia, Paul L. (fiancée, Michele Moody) Bracone, Jr. of Dennison and Lisa M. (fiancé, Mark Barnes) Bracone of Dover; nine grandchildren, Jon (Misty) Erwine, Brandon (Amanda) Erwine, Michael McGlade, Michael Bracone, Tammi (Frank) Cegledy, Justin (Molly) Shaw, Emily Bracone, Christopher Page and Jordan Page; and eleven great-grandchildren. The last of ten siblings, she was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters, and is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, husband and siblings, she was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Michael Shaw.

In keeping with her wishes, Lucille has been cremated without a public visitation. A memorial mass, officiated by Father Anthony Lonzo, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, in Immaculate Conception Church.
