Louise Lint

Louise Lint, 100, of Dennison, passed away in her home on Wednesday, October 15, 2014, after a period of declining health. Born October 27, 1913 in Loretto, Michigan, she was a daughter of the late Costantino and Josephine (Pancheri) Manini. At a young age, she and her family moved to Uhrichsville where she made many dear friends.

On June 4, 1936, Louise married Harry “Boze” Lint with whom she enjoyed 59 years of marriage until his passing on October 3, 1995. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved cooking, baking pies, and working in the garden and her flower gardens.

She will be sadly missed by her children: Jim Lint of Circleville, Barbara (Gary) Eckhardt of New Philadelphia, and Carol Ong of Dennison; grandchildren: David Lint, Andrea (Jeff) Nalley, Amy (Doug) Lavy, Susan (Derek) Dummermuth, J.J. (Leann) Ong, and Jennifer Ong; great-grandchildren: Madison Henn, Jordan Henn, Stacia Eckhardt, Drew Dummermuth, Harris Ong and Mallory Ong; and many nieces and nephews including a special niece, Cristie Armstrong.

In addition to her parents and husband, Louise was preceded in death by her brothers: Dario “Sponce” Manini, Joseph “Chub” Manini and Henry “Hank” Manini; son-in-law, James “Jim” Ong; and daughter-in-law, Pamela Lint.

Services, officiated by Father Anthony Lonzo, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 20, in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will follow in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery. Visitation will be for an hour prior to the service on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, P.O. Box 52074, Phoenix, AZ 85072-2074, in honor of her great-granddaughter, Stacia Eckhardt.
