Lori Ann Hill

June 22, 1967 — July 3, 2025

Lori Ann Hill, 58, of Wainwright, Ohio, walked into Heaven on July 3, 2025 after a courageous 24-year battle with multiple sclerosis. Born on June 22, 1967, in Dover, Ohio, she was a daughter of David George Reichman of Dover and Janet Louise (Kohler) Sensbach of Uhrichsville.

A 1985 graduate of Claymont High School, Lori went on to work as a dedicated pharmacy technician for Drug Mart in New Philadelphia. She found true joy in life’s simple pleasures and the deep bond she shared with her husband. Together, they embraced every opportunity – working side by side on concrete projects, fishing, and soaking up the sun at the beach on their yearly family vacations to Wilmington, North Carolina.

She had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her canine companions, who brought her comfort and happiness. Lori also found peace in watching the birds. Her quiet strength, love of nature, and unwavering spirit left a lasting impression on those lucky enough to have known her. Though she faced many challenges, she met them with grace and resilience and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she will be missed by her husband of 37 years, John Carl Hill, whom she married on September 5, 1987; her son, Ryan (Kelsey) Hill; granddaughter, Charlee Hill; siblings, Gregg Sensbach, Mike (Patty) Sensbach, Andy (Page) Reichman, and Jamie (Ryan) Stewart; sisters-in-law, Karen Herchler, Bonnie (Keith Seigler) France, and Carla (Tony) Scott; a special cousin, Lynn Carper; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by two infant daughters, Miranda and Nicole Hill.

Rev. Lloyd Gooden will officiate an 11:00 a.m. graveside service in Sharon Moravian Church Cemetery near Tuscarawas on Tuesday, July 8.  Donations honoring Lori’s memory may be made to Ohio’s Hospice Foundation, 716 Commercial Ave. S.W., New Philadelphia, OH  44663, in lieu of flowers.
