Loren L. “Teddy” Tedrow, Jr., 54, of Uhrichsville passed away unexpectedly from an apparent heart attack on January 14, 2016. Born August 6, 1961 he was a son of the late Clifford William and Sandra (Veigel) Cox of Uhrichsville.
Teddy attended Claymont High School before proudly serving his country in the United States Army. He retired from A.R.E. as a machine operator and devoted his time as a coach and mentor for the Twin City Jr. Miss Softball. Teddy also enjoyed dedicating his time as a band parent, fishing, and long leisure drives.
On July 16, 2005 he married the former Melanie E. Jones who survives him of the home. He is also survived by children, Bobbi McDonald, Ray Vanfossen, Jennifer (Kris) Nixon, Pat (Tyler) Frutig, Breanna Vanfossen, and Brittnee Tedrow; 6 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Teresa (Vernon) Jones and Crystal (Bob) Pennell; and 4 nieces and nephews. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by a baby grandson, Paul.
Services for Teddy officiated by Pastor Deborah Kellar will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday Jaunary 18 at the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Private burial will take place in Uhrichville’s Union Cemetery at a later date.
