Linda S. Rapport

Linda Sue Rapport, 71, of Uhrichsville, Ohio, passed away at the Ohio’s Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia, Ohio on Sunday, July 20, 2025, after a period of declining health. Born February 7, 1954 in Dover, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Morris Lynn and Wilma Louise (Haas) Rapport.

Linda was a 1972 graduate of Claymont High School before studying at Kent State Tuscarawas from 1974 to 1976. She was a lifelong area resident who grew up attending Dennison Church of God.

She will be missed by her many devoted caregivers and housemates from Ember Home and Ember Complete Care who were like family to Linda, as she had resided with them for decades. She also leaves behind her aunt, Joan Devore, and a number of cousins, as well as her dedicated guardian, Attorney Karen Dummermuth. She was recently preceded in death by her feline companion, Bootsie, whom she dearly loved.

A 1:00 p.m. graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 24, at Sharon Moravian Church Cemetery near Tuscarawas. Those wishing to honor her memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to their favorite charity.
