Linda Ann Lockard

Linda Ann Lockard, 74, went home to be with the Lord early the morning of Feb. 28, 2023. She had been in the care of Community Hospice for a short time after residing at Sunnyslope Care Center in Bowerston, Ohio for several years. Before that, she was in the loving care of her wonderful niece, Stephanie Shelley, and her husband, James. May God continue to bless them for their love and kindness.

She was born Linda Ann Moreland on December 19, 1948 to the late John Thomas Moreland, Jr. and Alberta Irene (Budd) Moreland. She was the eldest of seven children and was preceded in death by brothers, Dale (Tamara) Moreland, Wayne (Carolyn) Moreland; sisters, Darlene (Richard) Karlosky and Joyce Domer; her two husbands, Ronald Lockard and James Haldeman; and her best friend, Marty Enochs. She is survived by her sisters, Vivian Moreland-Fish and Elaine (Dan) Rollins, as well as many nieces and nephews.

According to her wishes, she has been cremated. Her family will gather to celebrate her life on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. in New Philadelphia's Tuscora Park.
