Linda K. Harmon

Linda Kay Harmon, 79, of Uhrichsville, Ohio, passed away at her home while surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, January 8, 2026, after a lengthy illness. Born May 6, 1946 in Canton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Gerald Robert and H. Eileen (Walton) Brown.

In addition to being a loving mother, grandmother, and homemaker, Linda had been a nurses’ aide at the Tuscarawas County Home for many years. In retirement, she had worked at Mako’s Market in Uhrichsville for a number of years. Even while she worked, Linda always put her family first and will be remembered for her deep devotion to her children and grandchildren who were truly her life’s greatest joy.

She leaves behind her children, Steve (Carla) Harmon, Tracie Harmon, Jennifer (Gary) Armstrong, Scott (Staci) Harmon, and Kim (Chuck) Bridgeman; grandchildren, Eric (Lauren), Milana, Meg, Emily, Allex (Miranda), Dinae, Storm, Lilly, and Sydney; brothers, Pastor Sam W. (Teresa) Brown, and Jeffrey J. (Daphne) Brown; sister-in-law, Lois Brown; many nieces and nephews; her longtime companion, Howard Berger; and his children, Bill (Gina), Kelly, Zeke, and Eric, 5 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Linda will also be missed by her faithful canine companion, Angel. She was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald R. Brown, Jr., and niece, Linlee Brown, as well as her parents.

Linda’s family wish to express their deep gratitude for the excellent care provided to her by all of the caregivers from A to Z Home Health and Crossroads Hospice. They are also deeply grateful for the love and support of their dear family friends, Marc and Cheryl.

Pastor Jim Shamel will officiate a 1:00 p.m. memorial service on Thursday, January 15, at the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison where her family will receive callers from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, prior to the service. She will be interred in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery on a future date.
