Lesley Anne Loftus, 83, of Dennison, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at the Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia. Born November 1, 1938 in Liverpool, England, she was the daughter of the late John “Jack” and Gertrude Anne (Williams) Bibby-Trevor.
A Tuscarawas County resident since the early 70s, Lesley was employed by Handy and Harmon, then later by A.R.E. in Massillon, until retiring in 2015. She will be remembered as a deeply caring woman whose kindness extended to countless animals, especially her kitties, and many people whether they were friends or strangers. She just truly loved helping anyone in need.
Lesley was the devoted mother of Michael (Shannon) Loftus and Andrew (Marilyn) Loftus, and loving grandmother of Candace and A.J. Loftus, all of whom survive her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Brian Bibby-Trevor, and her former spouse, Edward William “Ted” Loftus.
In keeping with Lesley’s wishes, cremation is planned without a public service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tuscarawas County Humane Society, 1432 Tall Timber Rd. N.E., New Philadelphia, OH 44663 and the Uhrichsville Police K-9 Unit, 305 E. 2 nd St., Uhrichsville, OH 44683.
