Lee Ann McMath, 46, of Uhrichsville, O., was called home to be with her Lord and Savior from her residence on Monday, January 3, 2011 while surrounded by her loving family, after a courageously fought battle with pancreatic cancer. Born October 16, 1964 in Dover, O., she was a daughter of Linda (Weaver) Watson of Bowerston and the late Lawrence Eugene “Tip” D’Agnone.
A true woman of faith, Lee Ann loved being active in the life of her congregation at Grace United Methodist Church in Uhrichsville. She also enjoyed cooking, doing crafts, gardening and tending her flowers, and most of all, spending time with her family, especially at the holidays. She was a lifelong resident of the Twin City area, a graduate of Claymont High School in the class of 1983, and an employee of Claymont High School.
On December 4, 1987, Lee Ann married Darrell G. McMath who survives her. She is also survived by her mother, Linda Watson and her husband, George of Bowerston; two children, Derek and Lyndsey McMath of the home; two brothers, John Walton and his wife, Mandy, of Uhrichsville and Bob Walton of Adena; a sister, Catherine Thompson of Dover; her parents-in-law, Dave and Sally McMath of Uhrichsville; brother- and sisters-in-law, Dean and Despo McMath of Uhrichsville and Raeann McMath of New Philadelphia; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A dear aunt, Sandy Anderson, preceded Lee Ann in death, as well as her father.
