Larry David Shearer

Larry David Shearer, 64, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at Union Hospital in Dover. Born July 30, 1952 in Dennison, he was a son of Magraetha Mae (Baumgardner) Shearer with whom he had resided and the late William Frank Shearer who died January 2, 1999.

Larry was a lifelong Twin City resident and a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Uhrichsville. He worked for many years at Starlight Enterprises’ workshop. He was a loving son, brother and uncle who loved to color.

He is survived by his mother, Magraetha; sisters, Lora Mae Shearer, Linda Casey, and Lou (Charles) Jackson; nieces and nephew, Amanda, Amy, Charlie, and Carlie; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, David Casey.

Larry will be cremated and interred in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery with his beloved father. No public visitation or service is planned.
