Larry Dean Lee, 73, of Dennison, passed away at Union Hospital in Dover on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. Born March 29, 1945 in Dennison, he was a son of the late Denver William and Betty Fay (Osburn) Lee.

A 1963 graduate of Conotton Valley High School, Larry was a lifelong resident of the area with the exception of the time that he proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He retired as a foreman at Republic Steel in Massillon after a 37 year career. He was also a skilled carpenter who loved working with wood.

Larry is survived by his sisters, Karen Glass and Sharon (Jim) Arthurs; dear friend, Darlene Steve, and her extended family; several nieces and nephews; and his former spouse, Janeen Lee-Scott. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Richard “Ricky” and William Lee; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Robert Amon; brother-in-law, Jim Glass; and nephews, Tony Glass and Jeffrey Amon.

Services, officiated by Pastor Mike Travis, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 1, in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will follow in Conotton Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
