Kimberly S. Martin

June 12, 1961 — March 17, 2026

Gilmore, Ohio

Kimberly Sue Martin, 64, of Gilmore, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family on March 17, 2026. Born on June 12, 1961 in Dennison, Ohio, she was a daughter of Nancy Jane (Milburn) Faes and the late Dean Faes.

Kim was a graduate of Indian Valley South High School before beginning her life as a devoted wife and mother. On July 28, 1984, Kim married her high school sweetheart, Terry “Tater” Martin, son of Norma and the late Ted Martin, who survives her. She is also survived by her sons, Kyle (Ashley Beers) Martin and their children, Mabel and Asa, and Tyler (Kelsey) Martin and their children, Sophia and Elliana; mother, Nancy Jane (Milburn) Faes; sisters, Diane (Shawn) Hughes and Dena (Dave) Nicholls; niece and nephews, Kara (Mike) McPeek, Cody (Savanna) Hughes, and Eric (Tricia) Morrison; great-nieces and great-nephews, Aubrie and Addisen McPeek, and Riley and Easton Morrison; and her mother-in-law, Norma Martin. In addition to her father, Kim is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Ted Martin.

Kim lit up every room that she was in. She was the epitome of kindness and was always willing to do anything for her family. She loved Christmas with her whole heart. She adored Christmas lights, and instilled and carried on the tradition of looking at lights with family on Christmas eve. Decorating her Christmas tree and showing it off made her so proud.

For Kim, being with her family was her absolute favorite place to be – whether it was hosting fireworks for the 4th of July, holding family line dance sessions in her basement, listening and singing to country gold (her favorite song being “Rollin’ With the Flow” by Charlie Rich), family board game and card nights, cooking for picnics and holidays, or opening her pool up in the summer for all of her children, grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Kim could always be found going on shopping trips with her mom, with whom she had a deep bond and cherished their time together.

Baking was something that Kim will always be remembered for. She had an entire tote filled with ingredients for anytime someone wanted to bake. Kim enjoyed spending time with her husband, and she loved him deeply. Every weekend, she looked forward to going riding on their Razor with Tater and their children. Kim loved to go on adventures and was always looking for something new, fun, and exciting to get into. She loved seeing new places, such as going on vacations and to sporting events, and concerts. Kim loved her life and everyone in it. She will be forever loved and forever missed.
