Kathleen Ann Wells

Kathleen Ann “Kathy” Wells, 80, of Canton, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025 at Hennis Care Centre in Dover following a period of declining health. Born October 5, 1944 in Dennison, she was a daughter of the late Theodore Roosevelt and Josephine Verna (Kaelin) Wells.

Kathy is a 1962 graduate of Uhrichsville High School. She worked as a manager for Bud’s in Alliance, Rite Aid, and retired from Walmart. Kathy enjoyed reading, beach vacations, playing cards, and crossword puzzles.

Surviving family includes her siblings, Jack Wells, Janet (Bill) Wolfe, Marilyn Garrett, and Marti Wells; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Rick Norman; brother-in-law, Don Garrett; sister-in-law, Judy Wells; nephews, Mike Garrett and Patrick Norman; and a great nephew, Dustin Norman.

A memorial service, officiated by Rev. John Clark, will be held on Thursday, January 16th at 1:00 pm at R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Visitation will be held an hour prior. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Dennison at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Traditions Hospice or charity of ones choice.
