Karen C. Scott

Karen Christie Scott, 72, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Union Hospital in Dover after a brief illness. Born March 12, 1941 in Akron, she was a daughter of the late Ralph A. and Myrtle Lucille (Peoples) Scott.

A lifelong resident of the area, Karen was a graduate of Uhrichsville High School in the class of 1959 before attending business college in preparation for her career in data entry. She is survived by several cousins, including June Little of Dover, Bonnie Braden of Connecticut, Phyllis Stocker of Gnadenhutten, Sue Peoples of Canton, Cheryl Georke of Massillon and Judy Witter of Massillon.

A graveside service for Karen is planned for the spring. She will be interred with her parents in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery. Those wishing to honor her memory by a contribution are encouraged to do so to the charity of their choice.
