Judith Ann Garabrandt

Judith Ann Garabrandt, 72, of Uhrichsville passed away on October 28, 2016 in her home surrounded by her loving family following a lengthy illness. Born January 24, 1944 she was a daughter of the late George Henry and Ruth Winona (Schwender) Doughty. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Gene, Larry, Furber and George Doughty.

Judy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed dancing, yard sales, baking and most of all, spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witness and had been an aid at local nursing homes.

On January 2, 1968 she married David G. Garabrandt who survives her of the home. Also surviving are her children, Kathleen Smith, Cheryl Brown, and Bill Brown; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; a sister, Diane Antonacci; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services for Judy, officiated by Brother Carl Langdon will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Visitation will be held two hours prior, 11-1 p.m. Burial will follow in Gilmore’s West Union Cemetery. Those wishing to honor her memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to Community Hospice.
