Joseph Brian Torch, 59, of Dennison passed away on November 27, 2021 in his home after a short battle with lung cancer. Born April 27, 1962 he was a son of the late Thomas Anthony, Sr. and Margaret (Tristano) Torch.

Joe graduated from Claymont in 1980 and retired from Marlite. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gambling, and most of all his time spent with family and friends. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church.

Surviving family includes his nephews with whom he was especially close, Travis and Daniel Carlisle; siblings, Tom Torch and Patricia Hinshaw; and his close friends, Gene Harbaugh and Cindy Deluca.

Father Jeff Coning will celebrate the funeral Mass on Thursday, December 2, at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery near Dennison. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 until 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Church.
