Joseph David Nazionale, 98, of Dennison, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017 at Park Village Southside Campus in New Philadelphia. Born in Dennison on September 25, 1918, he was a son of the late David and Julia (Mastellarini) Nazionale.
  
  
  Joe was a 1937 Dennison High graduate and proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He was co-owner of Nazionale Gulf and had been a caregiver at the West Home for many years. He was a member of the Twin City V.F.W. Post #9338, having served on their Honor Guard and Three Rivers County Council, and was a member of the Uhrichsville Moose. He was a Harley Davidson enthusiast and a member of Immaculate Conception Church.
  
  
  Surviving family includes children, Linda (Eric Botdorf) Chadwick and David Nazionale; daughter-in-law, Kathy Hill; grandchildren, Christopher, Ryan, Randy, and Renee; and 4 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Michael; brothers, William, Mario and Leo Nazionale; and sisters, Inez Hren and Anne Nazionale.
  
  
  Father Tyron Tomson will celebrate the funeral Mass on Tuesday, June 20, at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church in Dennison. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery near Dennison with a military committal service. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday at the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison, concluding with a 7:00 p.m. Christian Wake Service. Contributions honoring Joe’s memory may be made to Immaculate Conception Church’s Memorial Book Fund.
