Johnny L. Ridgway

Johnny L. Ridgway, 36, of Uhrichsville, died Friday, October 4, 2013 at Twin City Hospital in Dennison as a result of injuries sustained in a collision with a train. Born November 16, 1976 in Dennison, he was a son of the late Helen May Ridgway and Terry Talbott.

Johnny was a resident of Gnadenhutten throughout most of his life before moving to Uhrichsville. He was employed by Ridgco Pallet Company in Gnadenhutten and was an avid fisherman, in his spare time. He loved spending time with his wife, family and friends, especially around the campfire.

On November 11, 2011, he married the former Faith Ann Kramer who survives him. He is also survived by three stepchildren, Corinthia, Shanell and Logan Wallace of Uhrichsville; a brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Jackie Ridgway of Gnadenhutten; a nephew and a niece, Logan and Danielle Ridgway of Gnadenhutten; and many extended family members including his brother-in-law and best friend, Johnny Kramer.

Services for Johnny, officiated by Rev. Steven DeLong, will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9, in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to his family in care of the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home, Inc., 26 Grant St., Dennison, OH 44621-1269 to help defray the cost of his final expenses.
