John A. Knight

John Anthony Knight, 37, of Nashville, Tennessee, formerly of Bowerston, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, January 14, 2022. Born June 20, 1984 in Alliance, Ohio, he was a son of Jacquelyn Dale (Starcher) Knight-Buckey and the late John Charles Knight.

A 2002 graduate of Conotton Valley, Johnny grew up in Bowerston. He had been a resident of Nashville for the past five years where he was the shop manager for AWP. He loved riding his motorcycles and was an avid firearms enthusiast.

Johnny will be deeply missed by his mother and stepfather, Jackie and Brad Buckey of Bowerston; sisters, Jessica (Shawn) McCullough and Linda Buckey; nephews, Dominic and Leland McCullough; aunts and uncles, Leslie and Karl Roehrig, Matt and Amy Neubacher, and John and Amy Neubacher; paternal grandmother, Peggy Knight; maternal grandmother, Pat Starcher; and many cousins. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather with whom he had been very close, Jack Starcher; maternal grandmother and grandfather, Darlene and Tom Sheehan; paternal grandfather, Jerry E. Knight; and two infant brothers. A private, family celebration of Johnny’s life is planned for a future date.
