John W. Brown

John W. Brown, 34, of Uhrichsville, Ohio, died on Sunday, January 23, 2011. Born January 14, 1977 in Dennison, Ohio, he was a son of the late Worthington Leon and Ruth Auleene (Gordon) Brown. John was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1996 graduate of Conotton Valley High School. He was a true outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and farming.

John is survived by two daughters; three siblings, Charles S. Brown, Edward M. Brown, and Mrs. Weston (Wilma Karen) Bingle, all of Uhrichsville; his nieces and nephews, Layne and Mercedes Bingle, and Katherine Elizabeth, Chelsie and Jacqueline Brown, also of Uhrichsville; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services and calling hours for John will be held on Thursday, January 27, in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home at Dennison with public visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 7:00 p.m., officiated by Dr. Gene Keplinger. Interment will be with his parents in Bowerston’s Longview Cemetery. Those wishing to honor John’s memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to the American Cancer Society.
