Joann P. Brokaw

Joann P. Brokaw, 87, of Dennison passed away on April 30, 2013 at Trinity Twin City Hospital following a brief illness. She was born on June 16, 1925 in Long Island, New York. Joann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker who dedicated her life to taking care of her family.

Joann’s surviving family includes her husband, Paul W. Brokaw of the home; a daughter, Sonya (Michael) Thomas of Oakwood, GA. and her sons, Patrick and Dakota Thomas; a son, John Jasiecki of Old Town, FL., and his son, John Jasiecki, Jr,; her step children who loved her as their own mother, Tony and Michael Petscher both of Florida; step daughter Lori Ann Brokaw of Medina, OH; a sister, Helen; and numerous other grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Antoine Richard Petscher.

In keeping wish Joann’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Lyle Warren will be held at Newport U.M.C. on June 8th, 2013 at 1:00 pm.
