Jeffrey Michael LeMonte

Jeffrey Michael LeMonte, 73, a lifelong resident of Dennison, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, following a rapid decline in health. Born March 8, 1953 in Dennison, he was a son of the late Joseph William and Alice Marie (née Riggs) LeMonte.

Jeff was a 1971 graduate of Claymont High School where he enjoyed playing basketball and weightlifting. Throughout his life, he was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Dennison. Jeff had a thirty-year career as a machinist for Ruger Equipment in Uhrichsville before working as a deliveryman for Twin City Greenhouse and The Flower Garden, in retirement. He was a longtime member of Dennison Eagles Aerie #582.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Diana LeMonte, several nieces and nephews, many cousins, and a host of dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sherry M. Rothacher.

In keeping with Jeff’s wishes, he will be cremated before being interred beside his parents in St. Mary’s Cemetery near Dennison. His family plan to celebrate his life privately. Those wishing to honor his memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to Immaculate Conception Church.
