JR Fox

Jeffery Robert “JR” Fox, Jr., 41, of Dennison passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital in Dover. A son of the late Jeffery Robert Fox and Tammy Sue Devore who survives him, he was born in Dennison on May 17, 1985.

JR attended Claymont High School and was a certified industrial electrician, and had worked for Asplundh. As a child he enjoyed playing baseball and always had an appreciation for all things outdoors.

Surviving family includes his mother, Tammy Devore; his children, Ashton and Jaydin; brother, Joey Devore; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his stepbrother, Ross Best, IV; paternal grandparents, Robert Ray Fox and Gloria Jean Hawkins; and maternal grandparents, Lloyd Allen Devore and Joann (Maple) Devore.

In keeping with JR’s wishes, he chose to give the ultimate gift of life through organ donation. Fulfilling this generous final wish, JR’s donation through Lifebanc has restored health and renewed hope for numerous individuals and families in need.
