Jean Stewart

Jean Stewart, 80, of Uhrichsville, passed away at her home on Friday, January 20, 2017. Born September 14, 1936 in Uhrichsville, she was a daughter of the late Clayton Brackenwood Sheets and Lois Lillith (Morris) Bente Sheets. Jean was a lifelong Twin City resident and graduate of Dennison High School. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.

Jean is survived by her son, Shane E. (Candie) Stewart; daughters, Sherry D. (Ed) McCue, Lynn V. (Steve) Butler; grandchildren, Brian (April) McCauley with whom she had resided, Laci S. McCue, Cody E. McCue, Damiane Stewart, Alyssa Hanlon, Sheridan Stewart, Amy (Mike Smith) Rila and Dianna Rila; step-grandchildren, Michelle McCue, Miranda McCue and Mitch (Brittany) McCue; many great-grandchildren; sisters, Joann Sheets (her twin) and Janetta (Gary) Paulan; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends who loved her dearly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Michael Stewart; brother, Charles Sheets; sisters, Margaret Pancher and Lois June Glauser; and her former spouse, Robert Francis Stewart.

In keeping with Jean’s wishes, she has been cremated without a public visitation or service. A memorial service will be held at a later date. She will be interred in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery.
