Jean A. Mick

Jean Ann Mick, 71, of Uhrichsville, passed away at her home with her loving family at her side on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, after a bravely fought battle with cancer. Born November 24, 1950 in East Liverpool, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Moore) Randolph.

On July 27, 1985, Jean married Tim Mick who survives her at their home. She is also survived by her children, Debbie (J.R.), Larry (Kristy), Catina, and Kahle; grandchildren, Ryan, Kellie, Jimmy, Fantasia, Ashley, Kendra, C.J., Jessica, and Garrett; great-grandchild, Lane; sister, Mary (Willie); brother, Bernie (Alice); step children, Tim (Gale) and Dianna (Rod); and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Gary and Dave; sisters, Janet, Olive, and Dorothy; and son-in-law, Scott.

Jean was a Twin City resident for nearly 40 years and had been employed as a State Tested Nursing Assistant for several area nursing homes, including Schoenbrunn Healthcare, the former Beacon Pointe Rehabilitation Center, and most recently, New Dawn Retirement Center. In her younger years, she had worked for Bricker’s Restaurant in East Liverpool. In her spare time, she loved reading, flower gardening, and hanging out with her grandchildren and family. She also dearly loved her puppies.

According to Jean’s wishes, cremation is planned and a celebration of her life will be held on a future date. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations honoring her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
