Jason Dean Ross

Jason Dean Ross, 36, of Uhrichsville, passed away at his home on Wednesday, October 4, 2017. Born September 13, 1981 in Dover, he was a son of Harry Dean “Buck” Ross and Lila Marie (Baker) Alaniz. He was a 2000 graduate of Claymont High School who had worked as a diesel mechanic, and most recently, for Ohio Gratings. He was a member of Bethel Worship Center in Uhrichsville.

On November 5, 2016, he married JoLynda Renea (Grove) Ross who survives him. He is also survived by his father, Harry Ross; mother and stepfather, Lila and Mark Alaniz; sons, Evan Ross and Devin Ross; stepdaughter, Kylee Blaney; brother and sister-in-law, Joshua and Amanda Ross; sister, Kacie Griffith; parents-in-law, Vickie and Robert Moss, Jr. and Jeff and Samantha Grove; sisters-in-law, Malissa Grove and her fiancé, Matthew Blaney, and Tiffany Grove and her fiancé, Markes Marker; and nieces and nephews, Breanna, Bralyn, Abby, Gabriel, Austin, Logan, Ethan, McKenzie, Kegan and Mattilyn. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, George and Laura Baker; paternal grandparents, George and Winnie Freeman; and aunt, Vicki Reichman.

Services, officiated by Pastor John Stevenson, will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 9, in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
