Jason S. Ferrell

Jason Scott Ferrell, 38, of Uhrichsville, passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 25, 2021, in New Philadelphia. Born November 26, 1982 in Massillon, Ohio, he was the son of Kathleen Marie (Boyles) Smith with whom he had resided and Jon Scott Ferrell.

After attending Claymont High School, Jason was a roofer for Precision Construction for over 20 years. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancée, Felicia Johnson; siblings, Jenny (Jamey) Greer, Frank Smith IV, Shane Smith, Jerrod Smith, and Mandy Smith; aunts and uncles, Stacy Ferrell, Shelly (Dennis) LeMonte, Christina (Rick) Bridgeman, Linda (Randy) Tyler, and Deb (Mark) Heddleston; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by an aunt and his grandparents.

According to Jason’s wishes, cremation is planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Akron Children’s Hospital.
