Janet Lee Wells

Janet Lee Wells, 67, of Dennison, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, November 10, 2019. Born March 2, 1952 in Dover, she was a daughter of the late Leo D. and Betty E. (Donohoe) Cerana. Janet was a lifelong area resident and a member of the last graduating class of St. Mary’s High School in Dennison in 1970. She was Catholic by faith.

On March 19, 1977, Janet married Terry L. Wells who survives her at their home. She is also survived by a son, Phillip Wells; daughters, Jessica Wells and Marlena (Andy) Dean; grandchildren, Beaux Wells, Paige Wells, Lane Wells, Tenley Dean, Ariyah Dean, Laynee Dean, and Vivian Wells; great-grandchildren, Paxtyn Bunting and Brindley Wells; sister, Mary Anne (Timothy) Kerlin; many nieces and nephews; and a host of dear friends.

Janet was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker who devoted her life to her family. She cherished the time that she spent with them and especially enjoyed camping trips with fishing in the days and campfires at night.

According to her wishes, cremation is planned without a public visitation. A private, family celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tuscarawas County Humane Society, 1432 Tall Timber Rd. N.E., New Philadelphia, OH  44663.
