Jane Louise Maxwell

Jane Louise Maxwell, 73, of Dennison, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at Community Hospice in New Philadelphia. Born October 28, 1942 in Dennison, she was a daughter of the late John Robert Kinsey and Mary Jane (Petty) Corra.

A lifelong resident of the area, Jane was a 1960 graduate of Uhrichsville High School who was employed by the Harcatus Headstart program for many years. On October 12, 1962, she married John Eugene Maxwell, Sr. with whom she enjoyed over 47 years of marriage until his passing on November 17, 2009. They are survived by sons, Jack Maxwell and James (Tammie) Maxwell; daughter, Lori Henry; grandchildren, Alivia, Cory, Kyle, Max, Scott, Danielle, and Ashley; and great-grandchildren, Forrest and Charlotte Jane. She is also survived by her half-sisters, Beverly (Mike) O’Guin and Jody Edwards; half-brother, Tim Kinsey; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Marilee and Doug Day; great-granddaughters, Viktorya and Eclipz; and brother, Bob Kinsey.

In keeping with Jane’s wishes, she has been cremated. Her children have planned a time for family and friends to gather to share memories and celebrate her life. All are invited to the social hall in the basement of Park Christian Church from 11am to 1pm on Saturday, August 20, for a reception to honor Jane’s memory. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice.
