Jamie L. Fenwick

January 12, 1974 — April 13, 2025

Jamie Lee Fenwick, 51, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, April 13th, 2025 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville from cardiac arrest. Born January 12th, 1974 in Zanesville, he was a son of the late Nancy Lee (Vanderhoff) Fenwick and Edward James "Jim" Fenwick.

Jamie operated trucks for several local trucking agencies over the years. He earned his associates degree in accounting from Colorado Technical University in 2024. He loved his family dearly and his greatest wish was to win the lottery so that they could all live together in one big compound.

He would have done anything for someone struggling and would have given the last of whatever he had to help someone else. He had an amazing sense of humor and could make almost anyone laugh. His family will miss many things about him, including hearing him calling out his signature phrase, "HAMMA TME!"

He will be deeply missed by his children, Tyler Mardis, Cheyenne Yordy, Jamie Fenwick (Justin), Cherokee Fenwick, and Nikita Fenwick (Anthony); grandchildren, Caleb, Elizabeth, Kelly, Jackson, Blake, Meria, Rayanne, and Delilah; brother, Michael Cornelius; and several nieces and nephews, including Dakota and Brianna Beckett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Katherine Fenwick, and stepfather, Harold Lee Tennant.

In keeping with Jamie's wishes, he will be donated to science – a last act of generosity by a generous man. His family and friends will celebrate his life on April 26th, 2025 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 1865 Roxford Street, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663. Those wishing to honor his memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105.
