James M. “Jimmy” Cimarolli, 62, of Uhrichsville, passed away peacefully while surrounded by his loving family at Aultman Hospital in Canton on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 after an 18 month battle with cancer. Born July 26, 1952 in Canonsburg, Pa., he was a son of Jim and Mary Lou (Cooper) Cimarolli of Uhrichsville.
A 1971 graduate of Fort Cherry High School in McDonald, Pa., Jimmy spent most of his life in McDonald and Carnegie, Pa. He was employed by Interform Solutions of Bridgeville, Pa. for many years and was a life member of the McDonald Volunteer Fire Department. Jimmy was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan who was proud to have attended their first four Superbowls. He also enjoyed travel, especially his trips to Europe where he toured Sweden and Germany. Locally, Jimmy was a member of Uhrichsville First Presbyterian Church.
In addition to his parents, Jimmy is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Amy (Cimarolli) and Keith Willoughby of Dennison; niece, Kaylee Willoughby of Dennison; godson, Leland James Sutter of Carnegie, Pa.; aunts and uncles: June Gurnish of Akron, O., Barb Cimarolli of McDonald, Pa., Gene and Sylvia Cimarolli of Venice, Pa., Darlene Cimarolli of Safety Harbor, Fla., and Jesse and Brenda Flickinger of Shippensburg, Pa.; and numerous cousins and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Graham and Violet Cooper, and Leo and Agnes Cimarolli, as well as many other family members.
In keeping with Jimmy’s wishes, he has been cremated without a public visitation. Private family services are planned for a later date. Those wishing to honor his memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to Uhrichsville First Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 50, Uhrichsville, OH 44683, in lieu of flowers.
