James R. Hart

James Rolin Hart, 64, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018, at the Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia. Born May 8, 1953 in Dennison, he was a son of the late Charles Albert and Jessie Leona (White) Hart.

A lifelong area resident, Jim worked for K. R. Sulzener Construction. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers who also loved spending time outdoors. Most of all, he loved being with his family.

He is survived by a daughter, Theresa (Allen) Staten; son, James (companion, Sherrie Dietrich) Hart II; grandchildren, Allen (companion, Katlyn Higgins) Hart, Brittany (companion, Justin Saucier), Courtney (companion, Earl Wines) Staten, James Hart III, Chad Orr, Jaden Hart and Gavin Hart; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Paul (Faith) Hart; sister, Mary Carpenter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Richard Hart, David Hart, Charles Hart, Bobby Hart, Annie Hart, Pauline Wilson, Nettie Frances Hart, Betty Carpenter, Theresa Hart, Margaret Orr.

According to Jim’s wishes, cremation is planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his family in care of the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home, 26 Grant St., Dennison, OH 44621-1269 to help defray the cost of his final expenses.
