James Bernard Conklin, 71, of Uhrichsville, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at Park Village Healthcare in Dover, after a lengthy illness. A son of the late Riley Franklin and Melva Helen (Keiser) Conklin, he was born April 11, 1944 in Dennison.

He was a 1962 graduate of Tuscarawas-Warwick High School before attending Kent State University’s Tuscarawas Campus. Jim worked on the family dairy farm growing up and at Landmark Feedmill in Uhrichsville before joining the U.S. Navy in 1965 to serve in the Vietnam War.
